1997-074-RES WHEREAS, CITY COUNCIL DID HERETOFORE ON THE 12TH DAY OF MAY 1997
RESOLUTION NO. 97-074
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 12th day of May,
1997, pass Resolution No. 97-046, which said Resolution was incorrect and requires correction;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that
Resolution No. 97-046, be, and the same is hereby, amended so that such shall read as follows:
"WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has been made aware of
the fact that Lots 3 and 4, City Block 287, being the Mirabeau Square Shopping
Center and having a zoning classification of Planned Development, is experiencing
problems with traffic flow both entering and departing from the same; and,
"WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interests of the citizens of the City
of Paris that the site plan be reviewed by the Planning and Zoning Commission of the
City of Paris and the Traffic Commission of the City of Paris with regard to the traffic
pattern entering and departing from Mirabeau Square Shopping Center, and that, in
the event that the site plan should be amended, such recommendation should be made
to the City Council of the City of Paris for final action; and,
"WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that public hearings be held by and
before the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris on the 7th day of
July, 1997, at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, City Hall, Paris, Texas, and by and
before the City Council of the City of Paris on the 14th day of July, 1997, at 600
p,m., in the Council Chambers, City Hall, Paris, Texas; NOW, THEREFORE,
"BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, that the matter of amending the site plan on Lots 3 land 4, City Block 287,
being the Mirabeau Square Shopping Center, with regard to the traffic pattern
entering and departing from said shopping center, be, and the same is hereby, referred
to the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris and the Traffic
Commission of the City of Paris for their recommendations concerning the
amendment of said site plan; and,
"BE IT FlJRTHER RESOLVED, that public hearings be held by and before
the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris on the 7th day of July, 1997,
at 5:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers, City Hall, Paris, Texas, and by and before the
City Council of the City of Paris on the 14th day of July, 1997, at 6:00 p.m. in the
Council Chambers, City Hall, Paris, Texas, said public hearings to be held concerning
amending said site plan. "
