SUBJECT: 2018-19 BUDGET
DATE: August 6, 2018
BACKGROUND: At the July 23 council meeting, I provided a summary of the proposed 2018-
19 operating budget. That budget is fully balanced, with no tax rate increase, water and sewer
rate increases previously approved by the council, and one new employee only, in EMS.
STATUS OF ISSUE: Our first public hearing will be at a special council meeting conducted on
Tuesday, September 4; the second one at the regular September 10 meeting. The budget is
scheduled to be adopted at another special meeting on Monday, September 17.
BUDGET: NA at this time.
RECOMMENDATION: Discussion only.
