1996-043-RES WHEREAS, CITY COUNCIL DID HERETOFORE IN RESOLUTION NO 94-045 AWARDED
RESOLUTION NO. 96-043
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, in Resolution
No. 94-045, award the contract for Water Treatment Plant Expansion Vol. II - Controls
& Instrumentation, being a part of Project 92WSRB03-92 to ED WILSON, INC.; and,
WHEREAS, the City Engineer, Earl Smith, acting as projcct engineer of said
projcct recommends the amendment of said contract by Change Order No. One and Final
attached hereto as Exhibit "A", which provides for a net increase in contract price of
$2,710.36 for the purpose of making modifications to Pat Mayse Pumping Station RTU
#1; Booster/High Service Pump Station RTU #2; Local Operations - Program Additions;
Local Operations, alarm Annunciator - Program Additions; Hardware Additions; Hardware
Installation; Additional Travel Expenses; Pat Mayse/Lake Crook Ratio Calculator;
Automatic Filter Backwash Initiation; GPM conversion on flow meters; Totalize Ground
Storage Flow Meter; Chemical Feed Rate Adjustment Capability; Ground Storage Pump
Control Logic; Turbidity Meters; and Control Signal to Backwash Turbidimeter Solenoid,
for a total contract price of $367,710.36, and such form should be approved, and the
Mayor should be authorized to execute the same; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL 01<' THE CITY OF PARIS, that
the Water Treatment Plant Expansion Vol. II - Control & Instrumentation, being a
part of Project 92WSRB03-92, contract is hereby amended by Change Order No. One
and I<'inal attached hereto as Exhibit" A", providing for a net increase in contract price
of $2,710.36 for the purpose of making modifications to Pat Mayse Pumping Station RTU
#1; Booster/High Service Pump Station RTU #2; Local Operations - Program Additions;
Local Operations, alarm Annunciator - Program Additions; Hardware Additions; Hardware
Installation; Additional Travel Expenses; Pat Mayse/Lake Crook Ratio Calculator;
Automatic Filter Backwash Initiation; GPM conversion on flow meters; Totalize Ground
Storage Flow Meter; Chemical Feed Rate Adjustment Capability; Ground Storage Pump
Control Logic; Turbidity Meters; and Control Signal to Backwash Turbidimeter Solenoid,
for a total contract price of $367,710.36, which is in all things approved; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor of the City of Paris, Eric S.
Clifford, be, and he is hereby authorized and directed on behalf of the City of Paris to
execute said Change Order No. One and Hnal.
