1996-027-RES WHEREAS, CITY COUNCIL DID HERETOFORE ON THE 9TH DAY OF DECEMBER 1991
RESOLUTION NO. 96-027
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 9th day of
December, 1991, in Resolution No. 91-118, adopt the Official First Amended Lake Crook
Hunting District Map, which said map was used for the designation of hunting districts; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is in receipt of a request from Archers for Christ to amend
such map in order to allow hunting with bows and arrows on a portion of District 8, which is
open to the general public; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of continuing to encourage the safe and
recreational use of Lake Crook property and deems it appropriate that such request from Archers
for Christ be granted, that District 8 be divided into two (2) districts, known as Districts 8A and
8B, with bow and arrow hunting being allowed only in District 8A, and that the official map be
amended to reflect such change; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the
Official Second Amended Lake Crook Hunting District Map be, and the same is hereby,
adopted.

RESOLUTION NO. 96-026
WHEREAS, the City Council has been a member of the COOPERATIVE
PURCHASING PROGRAM through the Houston-Galveston Area Council since October 1,
1990; and,
WHEREAS, it would be appropriate for the City of Paris to purchase an ambulance
replacement for Unit No. A-2 through said Houston-Galveston Area Council; and,
WHEREAS, it is appropriate for the City Manager of the City of Paris, Michael E.
Malone to be authorized to execute a purchase order for a 1996 Ford F350 Type 1 Ambulance
for a total purchase price of $73,823.62 with a trade-in value of $5,000.00 for an actual
purchase price of $68,823.62; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the
City Manager of the City of Paris, Michael E. Malone, be, and he is hereby authorized and
directed to execute on behalf of the City of Paris a purchase order with the Houston-Galveston
Area Council for a 1996 Ford F350 Type 1 Ambulance to be manufactured by Wheeled Coach
Industries.
