A. Action Item: Vote to approve funding to add lighting to Field #7 at the City of Paris
Sports Complex next to Love Civic Center. This will help to attract and support
more and larger tournaments, many of which would attract out of town teams and
their supporters. Previous cost quotes have ranged from $150,000 to $200,000.
However, a recent partnership between Musco (a national lighting company) and
Hargis Electric offers us a chance to get the lights put in place for approximately
$80,000.
Approval is for $40,000 from VCC. This will be divided over a period of 3 years.
