Item No. 12 TO: Mayor & City Council John Godwin, City Manager FROM: Carla Easton, City Engineer SUBJECT: NEWBERRY ADDITION CB 167 - FINAL PLAT DATE: September 19, 2018 BACKGROUND: Landon and Candace Cope own 1.486 acres called Lot 4, City Block 167 located at 2805 3rd SE. They propose to build a single family home on the lot. The property is currently zoned Agricultural District (A). STATUS OF ISSUE: The owners have submitted a final plat of the property. Water and sewer infrastructure is available to the site, and it appears that the plat complies with the City of Paris subdivision regulations, subject to the following revisions. 1. The minimum building line setback shall be 35' in Agricultural zoning districts 2. Provide the minimum finished floor elevation for all structures The plat was approved by Planning & Zoning Commission on September 18, 2018. RECOMMENDATION: Approve the final plat with noted revisions.
