1996-117-RES WHEREAS, CITY COUNCIL DID HERETOFORE ON THE 9TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER 1991

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 9th day of
September, 1991, in Resolution No. 91-094, authorize the awarding of the bid for a hay lease
on Lake Gibbons property to Richard Finley; and,
WHEREAS, said lease expired on the 30th day of September, 1996, and it is deemed
appropriate to advertise for bids for a hay lease on approximately 175 acres of Lake Gibbons
property, save and except 3.673 acres leased to Paris Radio Control Association; NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the
City Clerk, Mattie Cunningham, be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed to advertise for
bids for a hay lease on approximately 175 acres of Lake Gibbons property, save and except
3.673 acres leased to Paris Radio Control Association, said bids to be received by 3:00 p.m.,
Tuesday, November 5, 1996, and presented to the City Council, at its next regular or special
meeting, for the purpose of letting the same.
