1996-113-RES WHEREAS, CITY COUNCIL DID HERETOFORE IN RESOLUTION NO 96-041 GO ON RECORD AS
RESOLUTION NO. 96-113
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, in Resolution
No. 96-041, go on record as being in complete support of the placement of a traffic
actuated signal at North Main Street (U.S. Hwy. 271 North) and Stone Avenue; and,
WHEREAS, said traffic signal would benefit the citizens of Paris and it would be
appropriate for said project to be approved by the City of Paris; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCILOI<'THECITY OF PARIS, that the
Mayor of the City of Paris, Eric S. Clifford, be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed
to execute, on behalf of the City of Paris, the Plan Sheet for State Highway Improvement
Federal Project No. STP 97 (58), Installing Traffic Signal With Safety Lighting, Add Left
Turn Lane at North Main Street (U.S. Hwy. 271 North) and Stone Avenue.
