1996-110-RES WHEREAS, CITY COUNCIL DID HERETOFORE AUTHORIZE PREPARATION OF PLANS
RESOLUTION NO. 96-110
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore authorize the
preparation of plans and specifications for a project of construction for a new clarifier,
sludge processing facility, screenings, dewatering, and associated work; and,
WHEREAS, such plans and specifications have been prepared by Earl Smith, City
Engineer, with the title being given thereto of "Wastewater Treatment Plant Clarifier
and Sludge Processing Facilities" Project No. 92WSRBOI-96, which plans and
specifications are recommended for approval by the City Engineer of the City of Paris;
and,
WHEREAS, such plans and specifications should be approved and such project
should be authorized for advertisement for bids; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL 01<' THE CITY OF PARIS, that
the plans and specifications for the "Wastewater Treatment Plant Clarifier and Sludge
Processing Facilities" Project No. 92WSRBOI-96 be, and the same are hereby, approved;
and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that such construction project be advertised for
bids to be received after due notice at the office of the City Manager of the City of Paris,
City Hall, 135 1st Street S.E., Paris, Texas 75460, until 3:00 o'clock p.m. on Tuesday,
November 26, 1996, at which time said bids will be opened in the City Council Chamber,
City Hall, 135 1st Street S.E., Paris, Lamar County, Texas, and bids will be tabulated and
presented to the City Council on the 9th day of December, 1996, for the purpose of letting
such bid.
