1996-081-RES WHEREAS, TEXAS NATURAL RESOURCE CONSERVATION COMMISSION OF THE STATE OF TEXAS IS ENCOURAGING
RESOLUTION NO. 96-081
WHEREAS, the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission of the State
of Texas is encouraging the beneficial use of effluent; and,
WHEREAS, Bobby McMonigle has expressed an interest in procuring effluent
from the City of Paris to be used for agricultural irrigation; and,
WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Paris and the
State of Texas that an agreement between the City of Paris and Bobby McMonigle be
explored and negotiated if interest continues; and,
WHEREAS, it is appropriate that the City Attorney of the City of Paris, T. K.
Haynes, be authorized to negotiate with Bobby McMonigle; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS; that
the City Attorney, T. K. Haynes, be, and he is hereby authorized to negotiate with Bobby
McMonigle for a beneficial use of effluent upon terms and conditions favorable to the City
of Paris.
