1996-074-RES WHEREAS, CITY COUNCIL DID HERETOFORE IN RESOLUTION NO 95-117 AWARDED
RESOLUTION NO. 96-074
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, in Resolution
No. 95-117, award the contract for "Booker T. Washington Area Curb and Gutter,
Paving and Drainage, Phase III, T.C.D.P. Contract No. 703669" to STEPHENS AND
SONS'S CONCRETE CONTRACTORS; and,
WHEREAS, the City Engineer, Earl Smith, acting as project engineer of said
project recommends the amendment of said contract by Change Order No. One and I<'inal
attached hereto as Exhibit "A", which provides for a net increase in contract price of
$15,342.86 for adjusting "AS-BID" quantities to "AS-BUILT" quantities for a total
contract price of $309,398.12, and such form should be approved, and the Mayor should
be authorized to execute the same; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that
the "Booker T. Washington Area Curb and Gutter, Paving and Drainage, Phase III,
T.C.D.P. Contract No. 703669" project contract is hereby amended by Change Order
No. One and Final attached hereto as Exhibit "A", providing for a net increase in
contract price of $15,342.86 for adjusting" AS-BID" quantities to "AS-BUILT" quantities
for a total contract price of $309,398.12, which is in all things approved; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor of the City of Paris, Eric S.
Clifford, be, and he is hereby authorized and directed on behalf of the City of Paris to
execute said Change Order No. One and Final.
