Minutes of Regular Meeting
Paris - Lamar County Board of Health
The Paris - Lamar County Board of Health held a regular meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, September 17th, 2018.
Board members in attendance were Mr. Bill Collins, Dr. Jay Carpenter, Dr. Marc White, Dr. Ross Williams, Mrs. Nancy Stallings,
and Mrs. Connie Stauter. Others in attendance were Mrs. Gina Prestridge and Ms. Cheryl King. Not in attendance was Dr. Eric
Salzman.
Mr. Collins called the meeting to order in open session at 5:34 p.m.
Mr. Bill Collins made the motion to approve minutes from prior meeting and was seconded by Mrs. Connie Stauter. Motion carried, 6
ayes, 0 nays.
Mrs. Prestridge advised that the grant year ended on 08131 and we ended with a positive balance. Dr. Marc White made the motion
to approve the 2018-2019 budget as presented and was seconded by Dr. Jay Carpenter. Motion carried, 6 ayes, 0 nays.
Mrs. Prestridge advised that we had a public information request about food poison, however a complaint was never filed so we had
no information.
Mrs. Prestridge advised the board on the following monthly report(s):
• August reports —
o WIC served 1,202 clients and 107 drive thru clients
o Health Department served 748 clinical clients
o Inspected 10 restaurants, 15 routine inspections, and 7 complaints
o Inspected 6 septic systems and 1 complaint, and
0 0 rabies cases were reported.
• Total liability and equity is approximately $1,257,311.00.
The next regular meeting will be on or before October 19th, 2018, at 5:30 p.m. at the Paris -Lamar County Health District.

Mrs. Stauter made the motion and was seconded by Dr. Jay Carpenter for the meeting to be adjourned at 5:50 p.m. Motion carried,
6 ayes, 0 nays.
