WHEREAS, the property located at 217 28th Street N.E., being a part of Lot 5,
Block 8, Springlake Addition became City of Paris property on July 30. 1986 by deed
from Johnnie Lynn Hollingshead Oates and Patsy Bernard to the City of Paris. recorded
in Volume 702. Page 26, Deed Records, Lamar County, Texas, for Collegiate Drive
Extension right-of-way; and,
WHEREAS, there is no known municipal use for the same, and it would be right
and proper to declare the same to be surplus property; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that
the lot located at 217 28th Street N.E., being a part of Lot 5. Block 8, Springlake
Addition, be. and it is hereby, declared to be surplus property and the same may be
disposed of in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas and the Charter of the City
of Paris.
