1996-137-RES WHEREAS, CITY COUNCIL DID HERETOFORE IN RESOLUTION 95-078 ON JULY 10 1995
RESOLUTION NO. 96-137
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did heretofore in Resolution 95-
078, on July 10, 1995, request financial assistance for taxiway improvements, drainage
improvements, navigational aids and terminal reconstruction at Cox Field Airport from
the State of Texas through the Texas Department of Transportation, Aviation Division;
and,
WHEREAS. the City Manager of the City of Paris did execute the Airport Project
Participation Agreement. TxDOT Project No. AP PARIS 4. TxDOT CSJ No. 960 I PARIS.
between the City of Paris and the Texas Department of Transportation on September 19,
1995, which execution should be in all things ratified; NOW, THEREI<'ORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS. that
the acceptance of the Grant for Airport Development from the State of Texas through the
Texas Department of Transportation in the form of the Airport Project Participation
Agreement, attached hereto and Exhibit A. is hereby ratified and the form of such contract
is approved; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the execution of the Airport Project
Participation Agreement, TxDOT Project No. AP PARIS 4, TxDOT CSJ No. 960IPARIS,
attached hereto as Exhibit A with the State of Texas through the Texas Department of
Transportation. by the City Manager of the City of Paris on the 19th day of September,
1996, is hereby ratified.
