<br />Item No. 13 <br />memorandum <br />TO: Mayor & City Council <br />FROM: John Godwin, City Manager <br />SUBJECT: MAIN STREET BOARD REPORT <br />DATE: February 12, 2019 <br />BACKGROUND: Although we have not historically done it consistently, our Main Street <br />Advisory Board is supposed to provide at least an annual report to the city council updating you <br />onits activities, accomplishments, and upcoming plans.The board made two presentationsin <br />2018, in January and June. <br />STATUS OF ISSUE: Main Street Coordinator Cheri Bedford and members of the city’s Main <br />Street Board will be present at the March 11council meeting to conduct this year’s first <br />presentation, highlighting completed improvements downtown as well as discussing their 2019 <br />plan of work. This will help the council be more cognizant of activities and successes, and also <br />provide you an opportunity to offer suggestions or direction. <br />BUDGET: NA <br />RECOMMENDATION: Presentation and discussion only. <br />
