JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 94-002
WHEREAS, the Paris-Lamar County Board of Health recommends the
establishment of the Lamar County Rural Health Clinic within the Paris-Lamar
County Health Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council and the Commissioners Court are aware of
benefits to be derived by the establishment of the Lamar County Rural Health Clinic;
and,
WHEREAS, it is appropriate that the City Manager of the City of Paris and
the County Judge of Lamar County be designated to execute on behalf of the Paris-
Lamar County Health Department all necessary instruments for the establishment of
the Lamar County Rural Health Clinic and for the conduct of its business; NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS
AND THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF LAMAR, that
the City Manager of the City of Paris, Michael E. Malone, and the County Judge of
Lamar County, Deane A. Loughmiller, be. and they are hereby, authorized and
directed on behalf of the Paris-Lamar County Health Department to execute
necessary instruments for the establishment of the Lamar County Rural Health Clinic
and for the conduct of its business.
