RESOLUTION NO. 94-160
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, in Resolution No. 94-
051, approve the execution of a Lease Agreement with Larry C. Townes; and,
WHEREAS, the terms of the lease agreement are in need of revision, and an Addendum
Number One to Lease Agreement dated June 14, 1994, in the form of Exhibit A, attached
hereto, should, in all things, be approved; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that
Addendum Number One to Lease Agreement dated June 14, 1994, in the form of Exhibit A,
attached hereto, be, and the same is hereby, approved; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Don Shelton, Mayor of the City of Paris, be, and
he is hereby, authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the City of Paris, Addendum
Number One to Lease Agreement dated June 14, 1994, attached hereto as Exhibit A.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, that this Addendum to Lease Agreement,
made this 12th day of December, 1994, by and between Larry C. Townes, hereinafter called
LESSEE, and the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, acting by and through its Mayor, Don Shelton,
duly authorized, hereinafter called LESSOR,
WITNESSETH:
It is hereby mutually agreed by LESSEE and LESSOR that the following paragraph be
amended to read as follows:
"For and in consideration of the payment of the sum of FIFTY-FOUR THOUSAND
AND NO/IOO DOLLARS ($54,000.00), payable to the CITY OF PARIS, a municipal
corporation, as follows: $300.00 on or before May 1, 2034, with a like payment on or before
the 1st day of each month thereafter during the remainder of the term hereof, said CITY OF
PARIS does hereby lease, rent and let unto LARRY C. TOWNES 1.65 acres of land located
at Cox Field, more fully described in Exhibit" A", attached hereto and made a part hereof for
all legal purposes. "

Commencing at an iron pin for corner at the intersection of the South line of F.M.
Highway 1508 with the East line of F.M. Highway 1508 situaled just South of the main entrance
to Cox Field Airport;
Thence North 84 Degrees, 45 Minutes East 1717.7 feet to a point for the Northeast
corner of this tract;
Thence South 1 Degree, 40 Minutes, 50 Seconds East a distance of 380.0 feet to a point
for corner;
