<br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-148 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did in Resolution 94-111 accept <br />the Law Enforcement/Detection/Apprehension Grant No. SA-95-TOI-08004 from the <br />Offtce of the Governor, Automobile Theft Prevention Authority; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as a part of the above described grant program, the City of Paris took <br />bids for the furnishing and delivery of two new vehicles, which are to be furnished with <br />the option to return for the Paris Police Department, which bids were received until 3:00 <br />P.M., Tuesday, November 8, 1994; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the best bid for furnishing and delivery of said vehicles with option <br />to return was made by LOWRY CHEVROLET, INC. in the form of Exhibit A attached <br />hereto, and it should be awarded such bid; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the form of the Retail Instalment Sale Contracts for such vehicles <br />attached hereto as Exhibit B-1 and Exhibit B-2, should be approved, and the City Manager <br />should be authorized to execute the same; NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that <br />the bid outlined on the Bid Form of LOWRY CHEVROLET, INC., attached hereto as <br />Exhibit A, for the furnishing and delivery of two new vehicles with the option to return <br />for the Paris Police Department is hereby accepted and let conditioned upon said dealer <br />meeting all of the terms and conditions included in the bid documents; and, <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the form of Retail Instalment Sale Contracts <br />attached hereto as Exhibit B-1 and Exhibit B-2, be, and the same are hereby approved, and <br />that the City Manager of the City of Paris, Michael E. Malone, be, and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City of Paris the Retail Instalment <br />Contracts with LOWRY CHEVROLET, INC., for the furnishing and delivery of two new <br />vehicles with the option to return, upon the terms and conditions and in the form shown <br />in Exhibit B-1 and Exhibit B-2 attached hereto. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of November, 1994. <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~~" ~~. -~~ <br />Mattie Cunningham, City CI <br /> <br />APPROVED AS}'~ FORM: <br />
