<br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-132 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Paris did, by letter dated September 7, 1994, give notice <br />that the current custodial contract with the City of Paris is being terminated for failure to <br />perform the services required under the contract, and proceeded to advertize for bids for <br />furnishing plant, labor, materials and equipment and performing all work required for the <br />maintenance and custodial service for the following City of Paris buildings: City Hall, <br />Water Billing Office, City Hall Annex and the Paris Public Library, which bids were <br />received until 3:00 o'clock P.M., Tuesday, October 4, 1994; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the best bid for such maintenance and custodial service was made by <br />Weber Morgan, d/b/a J & L JANITORIAL, and it should be awarded the bid for such <br />maintenance and custodial service; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the form of contract for such maintenance and custodial service <br />attached hereto as Exhibit A, should be approved, and the Mayor should be authorized to <br />execute the same; NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that <br />the bid of Weber Morgan, d/b/a J & L JANITORIAL, for the maintenance and <br />custodial service for the following City of Paris buildings: City Hall, Water Billing <br />Office, City Hall Annex and the Paris Public Library in the amount of $2,100.00 per <br />month is hereby accepted and let conditioned upon said contractor meeting all of the terms <br />and specifications included in the bid documents; and, <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor of the City of Paris, Don Shelton, <br />be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City of Paris the <br />contract with Weber Morgan, d/b/a J & L JANITORIAL for said maintenance and <br />custodial service, upon the terms and conditions and in the form shown in Exhibit A <br />attached hereto. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of October, 1994. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />12M <br /> <br />Don Shelton, Mayor <br /> <br />Mattie Cunningham, City Cler <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />APPROVED jS TO FORM: <br /> <br />// /// <br />
