RESOLUTION NO. 94-130 WHEREAS, a Comprehensive Plan for Thoroughfares, Land Use, Parks and Open Space, and Housing, Paris, Texas, June, 1981, was adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris, on December 14, 1981, and requires amendment due to changing circumstances; and, WHEREAS, the proposed 1983-1986 Urban Project Number MH715, proposes North Main Street to be one way north from Lamar Avenue North to the intersection of 1st Street Northwest in the 1700 and 1800 blocks of North Main Street; and, WHEREAS, the suggested connection of 1st Street Northwest and North Main Street in the 1700 and 1800 blocks of North Main Street is an improvement to the connection heretofore depicted on the Circulation Plan of the Comprehensive Plan for Thoroughfares, Land Use, Parks and Open Space, and Housing, which plan should be amended to reflect this more desirable connection; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the Comprehensive Plan for Thoroughfares, Land Use, Parks and Open Space, and Housing, for the City of Paris should be, and the same is hereby amended so as to reflect the connection of 1st Street Northwest with North Main Street in the 1200 and 1300 blocks of North Main Street as shown on Exhibit A attached hereto as the connection included in the Circulation Plan, Plate 7 of the Comprehensive Plan for Thoroughfares, Land Use, Parks and Open Space, and Housing for the City of Paris.
