1994-125-RES WHEREAS, CITY COUNCIL DID HERETOFORE IN RESOLUTION NO 88-043

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did, heretofore, in Resolution No. 88-
043, passed on May 9, 1988, approve the execution of a Lease Agreement with TEX/OKO
Outdoor Advertising; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did, heretofore, in Resolution No. 89-
066, passed on June 12, 1989, approve the execution of a Utility Easement with TEX/OKO
Outdoor Advertising, which runs concurrently with and terminates with said lease, to allow for
lighting and maintenance of the outdoor structure; and,
WHEREAS, TEX/OKO Outdoor Advertising has defaulted under the terms of said lease
by failing to pay rents in the manner and form therein prescribed; and,
WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Paris that said Lease
Agreement and Utility Easement be canceled; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY 01<' PARIS, that the
Lease Agreement between the City of Paris and TEX/OKO Outdoor Advertising be, and the
same is hereby, canceled; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Utility Easement from the City of Paris to
TEX/OKO Outdoor Advertising be, and the same is hereby, canceled.
