1994-123-RES WHEREAS, CITY COUNCIL HAS UNDERTAKEN A PROJECT OF CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW STREET
RESOLUTION NO. 94-123
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has undertaken a project of
construction of a new street from the West boundary line of 1st Street S.W., formerly Wall
Street, to a point in the center line of 4th Street S.W. along the old Southern Pacific
Railroad Right-of-Way, in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by Earl
Smith, City Engineer of the City of Paris; and,
WHEREAS, the right-of-way description necessary for the completion of said street
project is shown on Exhibit A attached hereto; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the above described right-of-way property
is necessary for said improvement project and that the same should be condemned; NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL 01<' THE CITY 01<' PARIS, that
the City Attorney, T. K. Haynes, be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to proceed
to condemn the above described property to be used for a new street from the West
boundary line of 1st Street S.W., formerly Wall Street, to a point in the center line of 4th
Street S.W. along the old Southern Pacific Railroad Right-Of-Way.
