1994-119-RES WHEREAS, CITY COUNCIL DID HERETOFORE IN RESOLUTION NO 93-064
RESOLUTION NO. 94-119
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, in Resolution
No. 93-064, award the contract for RAW WATER TRANSMISSION MAIN FROM
PAT MAYSE LAKE TO CITY O}' PARIS WATER TREATMENT PLANT, EDA
Project No. 08-01-02814 to KENCO INC.; and,
WHEREAS, the City Engineer, Earl Smith, acting as project engineer of said
project recommends the amendment of said contract by Change Order No. Three attached
hereto as Exhibit" A", which provides for a net increase in contract price of $7,433.69
for a total of $3,685,198.80, for: I) Furnish and install replacement check valve for raw
water pump #4 discharge piping; 2) Furnish and install 2 EA valve manifolds for high and
low pressure lines connecting to two differential pressure transmitters, and such form
should be approved, and the Mayor should be authorized to execute the same; NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that
the RAW WATER TRANSMISSION MAIN FROM PAT MAYSE LAKE TO CITY
OF PARIS WATER TREATMENT PLANT, EDA Project No. 08-01-02814, contract
is hereby amended by Change Order No. Three attached hereto as Exhibit" A" , providing
for a net increase in contract price of $7,433.69 for a total of $3,685,198.80 for: I)
Furnish and install replacement check valve for raw water pump #4 discharge piping; 2)
Furnish and install 2 EA valve manifolds for high and low pressure lines connecting to two
differential pressure transmitters, which is in all things approved; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor of the City of Paris, Don Shelton,
be, and he is hereby authorized and directed on behalf of the City of Paris to execute said
Change Order No. Three.
