1994-117-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, in Resolution No. 93-064, award the
RESOLUTION NO. 94-117
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, in Resolution
No. 93-064, award the contract for RAW WATER TRANSMISSION MAIN FROM
PAT MAYSE LAKE TO CITY OF PARIS WATER TREATMENT PLANT, EDA
Project No. 08-01-02814 to KENCO INC.; and,
WHEREAS, the City Engineer, Earl Smith, acting as project engineer of said
project recommends the amendment of said contract by Change Order No. One attached
hereto as Exhibit "A", which provides for a net increase in contract price of $2,544.31
for a total of $3,659,550.11, for: 1) Relocating 120/240 v service to pump building from
overhead to underground; 2) Supports for new electrical service entrance box for MCC;
3) Combining and transmitting 30" and 36" mains' flow signals, and such form should be
approved, and the Mayor should be authorized to execute the same; NOW,
THEREJ<'ORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that
the RAW WATER TRANSMISSION MAIN FROM PAT MAYSE LAKE TO CITY
OJ<' PARIS WATER TREATMENT PLANT, EDA Project No. 08-01-02814, contract
is hereby amended by Change Order No. One attached hereto as Exhibit" A", providing
for a net increase in contract price of $2,544.31 for a total of $3,659,550.11 for: I)

BE IT nJRTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor of the City of Paris, Don Shelton,
be, and he is hereby authorized and directed on behalf of the City of Paris to execute said
Change Order No. One.
