1994-109-RES WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the City Council that the City of Paris has a need for a

WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the City Council that the City
of Paris has a need for a new park in west Paris; and,
WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interest of the citizens of Paris for the
City to provide a new West Side Park, and staff should be authorized to begin
negotiations to lease property for said park, and to obtain cost estimates for the
construction of the same; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that
the City Attorney, T. K. Haynes, be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to proceed
with negotiations on behalf of the City of Paris to lease property for a new West Side
Park; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Director of Facilities, Dick Boots, be,
and he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare cost estimates for the construction of
a new West Side Park for the City of Paris.
