1993-078-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has been asked to nominate a candidate for membership
RESOLUTION NO.
93-078
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has been
asked to nominate a candidate for membership on the Board of
Directors for the Lamar County Tax Appraisal District filling
the unexpired term of Billy Joe Burnett, which vacancy was
created by his untimely death on the 23rd day of June, 1993;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of nominating
Wayne Brown; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, that the City of Paris hereby nominates Wayne Brown to
fill the unexpired term of Billy Joe Burnett to serve as a
member of the Board of Directors for the Tax Appraisal
District of Lamar County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Mattie Cunningham, City
Clerk, is hereby directed to timely deliver a copy of this
Resultion to the Lamar County Tax Appraisal District.
