1993-065-RES WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the City Council of the City of Paris that there is an alley,
RESOLUTION NO. 93-065
WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the
City Council of the City of Paris that there is an alley,
running North and South; BEGINNING at the North Boundary Line
of West Kaufman Street, running North to the South Boundary
Line of Grand Avenue; and,
WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the
City Council that the alley is not desired by the property
owners adjacent to said alley, but that said alley is of use
and necessary to the City of Paris and its citizens for
drainage and utility easement purposes; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, that the Mayor of the City of Paris, George Fisher,
be, and he is hereby authorized to execute a special warranty
deed to the alley being closed to the adjacent owners on
ei ther s ide of said alley, it appear ing tha t the real and
true owners of the hereinafter described lots are as follows:
Lot 10, City Block 124
Thomas N. Duncan
Lots 11, 13, 14, 15 & 16,
City Block 123
Lot 17, City Block 124
First Presbyterian Church
Ronald Cockrum
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Paris retain a
drainage and utility easement in the area to be described in
the above described special warranty deeds.
