1993-110-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did in Resolution No. 90-083 on September 24, 1990,

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did in
Resolution No. 90-083 on September 24, 1990, declare City of
Paris property lying between Loop 286 N.E. and Clement Road,
fronting on both, being Lot 6, City Block 276, to be surplus
property and ordered same sold; and,
WHEREAS, bids were received until 10:00 o'clock a.m. on
Wednesday, the 27th day of October, 1993; and,
WHEREAS, the highest bid by responsible bidder for said
property was from BOBBY SMALLWOOD and GLENN TOWNES in the
amount of $159,000.00; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
that the bid of BOBBY SMALLWOOD and GLENN TOWNES, in the
amount of $159,000.00 is hereby accepted and let; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor of the City of
Paris, George Fisher, be, and he is hereby authorized and
directed to execute a deed on behalf of the City of Paris to
convey said property to BOBBY SMALLWOOD and GLENN TOWNES.

Lamar County Records, being Lot 6, City Block 276,
located at 1600 Block of N.E. Loop 286, and being
further described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the South Boundary Line of
Loop 286 N.E., said point being North 57009' West,
a distance of 356.2 feet from the West Boundary Line of
17th Street N.E., said point being the Northeast corner
of Lot 6, City Block 276;
