1993-044-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has been made aware of the fact that all of City Block 179;
RESOLUTION NO. 93-044
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has been
made aware of the fact that all of City Block 179; Lots 3, 4,
5 and 6, City Block 178; and all of of City Block 177, within
the corporate limits of the City of Paris, have a zoning
classification of Central Area (CA) , temporary; and,
WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interest of the
citizens of Paris that such zoning classification be reviewed
by the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris
and in the event that the same should be changed to a Public
Lands and Institution District (PLl) classification that such
recommendation should be made to the City Council for final
action; and
WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that a public hearing
be set before the Planning and Zoning Commission at 5:30
o'clock P.M., in the City Council Room, City Hall, Paris,
Texas, on the 3rd day of May, 1993, and before the Ci ty
Council at 6:00 o'clock P.M. on the 6th day of May, 1993; NOW
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
that the matter of appropriate zoning on all of City Block
179; Lots 3, 4, 5 and 6, City Block 178; and all of City
Block 177, within the corporate limits of the City of Paris,
have a zoning classification of Central Area (CA), temporary,
be, and the same is hereby referred to the Planning and
Zoning Commission of the City of Paris for its recommendation
concerning the proper zoning of the same; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held by
and before the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of
Paris at 5:30 o'clock P.M" in the City Council Room, City
Hall, Paris, Texas, on the 3rd day of May, 1993, and a public
hearing be held by and before the City Council of the City of
Paris at 6:00 o'clock P.M. in the Council Room, City Hall,
Paris, Texas, on the 6th day of May, 1993, said public
hearings to be held concerning appropriate zoning on said
property.
