WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did
heretofore in Ordinance No, 93-018 close Old Paris-
Clarksville Road, beginning at a point in the south right of
way line of U,S. Highway No. 271 (Clarksville Street)
approximately 109 feet east of the Northwest corner of Lot 9,
City Block 311 and proceeding inn an easterly direction
approximately 1333,18 feet to the east boundary line of Lot
13, City Block 311; and,
WHEREAS, it is appropriate that the abandoned and closed
street right of way adjacent to Lots 13, 14, and 14A , City
Block 311 has no utility except to the adjacent owner and,
therefore, the abandoned right of way should be conveyed to
the adjacent owner in accordance with the laws of the State
of Texas; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
that the Mayor of the City of Paris, George Fisher, be, and
he is hereby authorized to execute a special warranty deed
for the abandoned street being closed to the adjacent owner
on either side of said abandoned street, it appearing that
the real and true owner of Lots 13, 14 and 14A, City Block
311 is Larry Greb,

That the CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, a municipal
corporation of the County of Lamar, State of Texas, acting by
and through its Mayor, George Fisher, duly authorized by
Resolution No. 93-
, for and in consideration of the sum of
Ten and No/lOO Dollars ($10.00) cash and other good and
valuable consideration, to it in hand paid by LARRY GREB the
receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged; have
Granted, Sold and Conveyed, and by these presents do Grant,
Sell and Convey unto the said Larry Greb of the County of
Lamar, State of Texas, whose mailing address is 2407 Lamar
Avenue, Paris, TX 75460 all that certain tract or parcel of
land situated in Lamar County, Texas, and described as
follows:
Being a part of an original public road situated
in the Joseph Leach H.R,S. in the City of Paris and
known as the old Paris-Clarksville Road.
BEGINNING at a point in the South Right of Way
Line of existing U.S, Highway No. 271 (Clarksville
Street), said point being a distance of 50,0 feet
from approximate centerline survey station 90+30 of
said existing U.S, Highway No. 271 (Clarksville
Street), by deed Vol. 221, Page 534;
THENCE in a Southwesterly direction along a
curve to the right with a radius of 5421.56 feet, a
distance of 182.66 feet to a point:
THENCE S 880 55' 35" E, a distance of 849.14
feet to the PRINCIPAL POINT OF BEGINNING;
THENCE continuing S 880 55' 35" E, a distance of
300.87 feet to a point in the east boundary line of
Lot 13, City Block 311;
THENCE northerly along the east boundary line of
said Lot 13, a distance of 41.14 feet to a point;
THENCE N 880 55' 35" W, along the north boundary
line of the Old Paris-Clarksville Road, a distance of
291.87 feet to a point in the west boundary line of
Lot 13;
