1993-020-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has been made aware of the fact that Lots 12 and 13 of
RESOLUTION NO, 93-020
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has been
made aware of the fact that Lots 12 and 13 of Smith 2nd
Addition, Lots 16 and 17, City Block 25l-A, and Lots 3 and
11, City Block 25l-A, within the corporate limits of the City
of Paris, have a zoning classification of Light Industrial;
and,
WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interest of the
citizens of Paris that such zoning classification be reviewed
by the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris
and in the event that the same should be changed to a Public
Lands and Institution District (PLI) classification that such
recommendation should be made to the City Council for final
action; and
WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that a public hearing
be set before the Planning and Zoning Commission at 5: 30
o'clock P,M" in the City Council Room, City Hall, Paris,
Texas, on the 5th day of April, 1993 and before the City
Council at 6:00 o'clock P.M, on the 8th day of April, 1993;
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
that the matter of appropriate zoning on Lots 12 and 13,
Smith 2nd Addition, Lots 16 and 17, City Block 25l-A, and
Lots 3 and 11, City Block 25l-A, be, and the same is hereby
referred to the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of
Paris for its recommendation concerning the proper zoning of
the same; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held by
and before the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of
Paris at 5:30 o'clock P,M" in the City Council Room, City
Hall, Paris, Texas, on the 5th day of April, 1993, and a
public hearing be held by and before the City Council of the
City of Paris at 6:00 o'clock P,M. in the Council Room, City
Hall, Paris, Texas on the 8th day of April, 1993, said public
hearings to be held concerning appropriate zoning on said
property,
