1992-054-RES WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the City Council of the City of Paris that there is an alley, RESOLUTION NO. 92-054 WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the City Council of the City of Paris that there is an alley, running between Paris Boulevard and Neagle Avenue; BEGINNING at the South Boundary Line of Paris Boulevard and the Northeast corner of Lot 12, Block 4, Neagle Addition; Thence South 300 feet along the East Boundary Line of Lots 12, 11, 10, 9, 8 and 7 of Block 4; Thence East with the North Boundary Line of Neagle Avenue 60 feet to the Southwest corner of Lot 6, Block 5, Neagle Addition; THence North 300 feet along the West Boundary Line's of Lots 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 of Block 5, Neagle Addition to the Northwest corner of said Lot 1, also being in the South Boundary Line of Paris Boulevard; Thence West 60 feet with the said South Boundary Line to the place of beginning; and, WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the City Council that the alley is not desired by the property owners adjacent to said alley, but that said alley is of use and necessary to the City of Paris and its citizens for utility and drainage easement purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the Mayor of the City of Paris, George Fisher, be, and he is hereby authorized to execute a Special Warranty Deed to the alley being closed to the adjacent owners on either side of said alley, it appearing that the real and true owners of the hereinafter described lots are as follows: Lots 7, 8 and 9, Block 4, Neagle Addition R. J. Brannan E50' Lots 10, 11 and 12, Block 4 Neagle Addition Eddie Baker Lots 1, 2 and 3, Block 5 Neagle Addition Mrs. Bryan Denney Lots 4, 5, and 6, Block 5 Neagle Addition Larry B. Melvin, Sr. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Paris retain a utility and drainage easement in the area to be described in the above described quit claim deeds.
