WHEREAS, the City Paris did heretofore by ordinance on
the 2nd day of July, 1959 adopt an Industrial Pretreatment
Program and revised and expanded said program on the 13th day
of June 1983, and has adequately funded the management and
enforcement of such program; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Paris is committed to adequately
funding the amendment to Article III of Chapter 34 of the
Code of Ordinances which included an Industrial Pretreatment
and Waste Transportation Management Program by Ordinance No.
92-029, passed and adopted this 13th day of July, 1992, and
all future amendments thereto; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
that the City Manager, being the person responsible for the
preparation of the City of Paris budget, be, and he is hereby
directed to include in all future budgets adequate funding
for the management and enforcement of the Industrial
Pretreatment Program of the City of Paris as established in
Ar t icle II I of Chapter 34 of the Code of Ord inances of the
City of Paris and any amendments thereto.
