1992-050-RES WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the membership of the Visitors and Convention Council of the

WHEREAS, there exists a yacancy on the membership of
the Visitors and Convention Council of the Chamber of
Commerce of Lamar County, due to the ineligibility of E. W.
(Bill) Booth, and it is necessary to appoint his successor,
and the Mayor of the City of Paris, George Fisher, having
appointed Jim Bell to serve the unexpired term of E. W.
(Bill) Booth, which ends December 31, 1993, and has
submitted the name of such person to the City Council of the
City of Paris; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS: That the appointment of Jim Bell, as a member of the
Visitors and Convention Council of the Chamber of Commerce
of Lamar County, to serve the unexpired term of E. W. (Bill)
Booth, which ends December 31, 1993, is by the City Council
of the City of Paris hereby approved and confirmed.
