BACKGROUND: Bids for the water treatment plant motor control center were received and
publicly opened at 10:00 a.m. on 10/31/2019.
STATUS OF ISSUE: Requests for bid were advertised beginning October 10, 2019 on the City
of Paris website, published in The Paris News on 10/20/2019 and 10/27/2019, and bid packets
direct mailed to five (5) contractors. Bradley Electric submitted the low bid of $97,008.50.
Attached is the bid tabulation.
BUDGET: Department 82 — Water Treatment; 10-0507-82-01; $97,008.50; this is a budgeted
item in FY 2019/2020.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the low bid received from Bradley Electric in the amount of
$97,008.50.
