WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has
undertaken a project of construction entitled MARTIN LUTHER
KING, JR. DRIVE EXTENSION FROM 6TH STREET N.E. WEST TO NORTH
MAIN STREET in accordance with plans and specifications
prepared by Earl Smith, City Engineer of the City of Paris;
and,
WHEREAS, the right-of-way descriptions necessary for the
completion of said street extension project are shown on
Exhibit A attached hereto; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds
described right-of-ways are necessary for
project and that the same should be
THEREFORE,
that the above
said improvement
condemned; NOW,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, That the City Attorney, T. K. Haynes, be, and he is
hereby authorized and directed to proceed to condemn the
above described property to be used for the MARTIN LUTHER
KING, JR. DRIVE EXTENSION FROM 6TH STREET N.E. WEST TO NORTH
MAIN STREET project.
