WHEREAS,

WHEREAS, Campbell Soup Company's Par is Plant has
recently been recognized by the Texas Water Conservation
Association, at its 48th annual meeting, as the
"Conservationist of the Year", an award which annually honors
outstanding water conservation programs and recognizes an
organization's over all care of the State's water resources.
Campbell Soup's "overland flow water system" has served
Campbell Soup and the local environment well and it is
appropriate that the City of Paris recognize outstanding
accomplishments by its citizens; NOW, THEREFORE,
the City of Paris is proud of its industrial

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
that Campbell Soup Company's Paris Plant be and it is hereby
officially recognized for its outstanding water conservation
and stewardship of the state of Texas' water resources.
