1992-021-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore approve sublease of certain property at
RESOLUTION NO.

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did
heretofore approve sublease of certain property at the
Fairgrounds from Red River Valley Fair Association to Paris
Rodeo and Horse Club; and,
WHEREAS, it was agreed in conjunction with said sublease
that the Paris Rodeo and Horse Club would be given a certain
period of time to remove the old horse barn since the Paris
Rodeo and Horse Club had determined that it was not
economically feasible to rehabilitate the same and to make
such use of the materials therefrom as it saw fit; and,
WHEREAS, THE Paris Rodeo and Horse Club did, on
day of March, 1992, make application for and
demolition permit for same; and,

WHEREAS, it is appropriate that the City Council grant
official permission for the horse barn to be removed; NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
that permission is given to the Paris Rodeo and Horse Club
and any successor in interest to demolish and remove the
building described in City of Paris demolition Permit No.
92-75.
