1992-014-RES WHEREAS, the Texas Department of proposed project entitled, Older designated State Project MCSP;
RESOLUTION NO. 92-014
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has
heretofore approved capital improvements to be funded by
Waterworks and Sewer System Revenue Bonds, Series 1992; and,
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the citizens of
the City of Paris to get the best bid upon the sale of said
bonds which can best by accomplished by permitting Southwest
Securities, Inc. which acts as the financial adviser for the
City of Paris in connection with such bonds to submit a
competitive bid for such bonds either individually or as a
member of a syndicate organized to submit a bid for such
bonds; and,
WHEREAS, such permission can best by given by executing
the Consent Agreement in the form of Exhibit A attached
hereto; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
that the mayor of the City of Paris, George Fisher, be, and
he is hereby authorized and directed to on behalf of the City
of Paris execute the Consent Agreement in the form of
Exhibit A attached hereto consenting to the submission of a
competitive bid by Southwest Securities, Inc. either
individually or as a member of a syndicate organized to
submit a bid for the City's $9,700,000 Waterworks and Sewer
System Revenue Bonds, Series 1992.

Board ("MSRB"), a municipal securities dealer acting as a financial advisor to an issuer must
have written consent from the issuer to submit a competitive bid for the Bonds either
iodep<::odcntly or as a member of il syndicate organized to submit a bid for the Bonds.
T'nerefore, in order to allow us to bid on the Bonds and to evidence compliance with MSRB
