1992-100-RES WHEREAS, the City of Paris and Paris Independent School District did agree to cooperate in the RESOLUTION NO. 92-100 WHEREAS, the City of Paris and Paris Independent School District did agree to cooperate in the construction and maintenance of tennis courts to be located near Travis Junior High and Crockett Junior High Schools; and, WHEREAS, such tennis courts were constructed as agreed; and, WHEREAS, the agreement between the entities was that the City of Paris would maintain the tennis courts at Travis Junior High, including lighting, and Paris Independent School District would maintain the tennis courts at Crockett Junior High, including lighting; and, WHEREAS, the citizens of the City of Paris are to have the use of both tennis courts during the summer vacations and at times other than school hours; and, WHEREAS, it is appropriate that the cooperative effort be reduced to writing for posterity; NOW THEREFORE, terms of this the benefit of BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the Intergovernmental Agreement between the City of Paris and Paris Independent School District for maintenance of the tennis courts at Travis Junior High and Crockett Junior High Schools, in the form of Exhibit A attached hereto, should in all things be approved; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, tha t the Mayor of the Ci ty of Paris, George Fisher, be, and he is hereby authorized and directed on behalf of the City of Paris to execute the Intergovernmental Agreement between the City of Par i sand Paris Independent School District in the form of Exhibit A attached hereto.
