1992-098-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did heretofore authorize the preparation of plans and

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, did
heretofore authorize the preparation of plans and
specifications for a project of construction for concrete
paving with curb and gutter on Fitzhugh Avenue from E.
Hickory Street to Clement Road, 1,500 linear feet and
concrete lining of drainage ditch west of and parallel with
Fitzhugh Avenue from E. Hickory Street to Clement Road, 1,500
linear feet; and,
WHEREAS, such plans and specifications have been
prepared by Earl Smith, City Engineer, with the title being
given thereto of PAVING AND DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS, FITZHUGH
AVENUE FROM HICKORY STREET TO CLEMENT ROAD Project, which
plans and specifications are recommended for approval by the
City Engineer of the City of Paris; and
WHEREAS, such plans and specifications
approved and such project should be advertised for
THEREFORE,
should be
bids; NOW,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
that the plans and specifications for the PAVING AND DRAINAGE
IMPROVEMENTS, FITZHUGH AVENUE FROM HICKORY STREET TO CLEMENT
ROAD Project are hereby approved; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that such paving and drainage
improvements project should be advertised for bids to be
received after due notice and thereafter returned to City
Hall for opening, at 3:00 o'clock P.M. on Tuesday, December,
8, 1992, and should be presented to the City Council on the
14th day of December, 1992, for the purpose of letting such
bid.
