WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris deems it
to be in the best interest of the citizens of Paris that the
City of Paris cooperate with and support Paris Industrial
Foundation, Inc. in its attempt to locate a fish hatchery and
research facility adjacent to Lake Crook and the Pat Mayse
Raw Water Transmission Line; and,
WHEREAS, in order to encourage the location of such
fish hatchery and research facility, it would be appropriate
for the City of Paris to offer, at its cost, raw water from
the Pat Mayse Raw Water Transmission Line to be used by such
hatchery and research facility and thereafter discharged into
Lake Crook; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
that the Mayor of the City of Paris, George Fisher, be and he
is hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the
City of Paris an offer of a raw water contract to Paris
Industrial Foundation, Inc. or its assigns to furnish
approximately one million gallons of raw water per day to
support a fish hatchery and research facility at cost.

OFFER OF RAW WATER CONTRACT
STATE OF TEXAS
COUNTY OF LAMAR
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS that the City of Paris,
Lamar County, Texas, acting by and through its Mayor, George
Fisher, duly authorized, hereinafter referred to as CITY,
does hereby offer to Paris Industrial Foundation, Inc., or
its assigns, hereinafter referred to as PIF, raw water upon
the following terms and conditions:
1. CITY agrees to furnish approximately one million
gallons of raw water per day to a site adjacent to its Pat
Mayse Raw Water Transmission Line to be used in support of a
fish hatchery and research facility.
2. CITY agrees to accept such raw liater after it has
been used by the fish hatchery and research facility as
permitted by the laws of the state of Texas.
3. This offer shall expire on April 30, 1993.
