1992-076-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, pursuant to the authority granted by
RESOLUTION NO.
92-076
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris,
Texas, pursuant to the authority granted by Sections 271.081-
271.083 Local Government Code, V.T.C.A., as amended is
desirous of participating in the purchasing programs of the
General Services Commission; and,
WHEREAS,

the City Council is of the opinion that
in such programs will be highly beneficial to
of the City of Paris through the anticipated
realized; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS
THAT, it should and does hereby request the General Services
Commission to include its stated need on the Commission's
annual contracts; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Michael E. Malone, City
Manager of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, is authorized and
directed to sign and deliver all necessary requests and other
documents in connection therewith for and on behalf of the
City of Paris; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Paris
acknowledges its obligation to pay participation fees
established by the commission and promises so to do; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk of the City
of Paris, Mattie Cunningham, be, and she is hereby directed
to transmit a certified copy of this resolution to the
General Services Commission, Attention: Carol Sleeper, P. O.
Box 13047, Austin, Texas 78711-13047.
