1992-067-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore in Resolution No. 92-066 authorize the City

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did
heretofore in Resolution No. 92-066 authorize the City
Attorney to procure a utility and drainage easement to
contain an existing sanitary sewer main; and,
WHEREAS, upon procurement of said easement it would be
appropriate to abandon and release an existing sewer line
easement; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
that the Release and Quitclaim releasing the easement upon
and across Lot 6A, City Block 123, to J. B. McCarley and
wife, Florence McCarley, in the form attached hereto as
Exhibit A, be, and is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor of the City of
Paris, George Fisher, be, and he is hereby authorized and
directed to execute on behalf of the City of Paris the
Release and Quitclaim in the form attached hereto as Exhibit
A.

the receipt of which is hereby

acknowledged by the City of Paris, does hereby abandon and
quitclaim unto B. J. McCARLEY and wife, FLORENCE McCARLEY, of
the county of Lamar, state of Texas, on August ___, 1992, and
to their heirs, devisees, or atisigns, all the right, title,
interest, claim, demand or use the city may have acquired by
a certain Sewer Line Easement dated August 27, 1968 from Hal
C. Ransom and wife Lynn J. Ransom to Henry Braswell and wife,
Rachel Braswell,
recorded in Book 250, Page 221, Deed Records, Lamar County,
Texas, which easement was assigned to the City of Paris by
Henry Braswell and wife, Rachel Braswell on November 11,
1991, and recorded in Book 250, Page 219, Real Property
Records, Lamar County, Texas, being upon and across Lot 8C,
City Block 287, Paris, Texas, said easement more particularly
described as follows:
A part of the Joseph Leach Survey within the
corporate limits of the City of Paris, being a portion
of the 3.884 acre tract of land conveyed by Henry
Braswell and wife, Rachel Braswell, to Hal C. Ransom
and wife, Lynn J. Ransom, by deed recorded in Book 414,
Page 116, Deed Records of Lamar County, Texas, and
being a strip of land 10 feet in width 5 feet each side
of center line, said center line being more
particularly described as follows:
