SUBJECT: THE DAVIS ADDITION FINAL PLAT
DATE: January 17, 2020
BACKGROUND: Mary Davis owns 0.95 acres comprised of 2 separate lots called City Block
213, Lots 6-A and 7, located in the 2000 block of West Sherman Street. She is proposing to
combine the lots and construct a single family home. The property is currently zoned Single
Family Dwelling No. 2 (SF -2).
STATUS OF ISSUE: The owner has submitted a final plat of the property. Water and sewer
services are available along West Sherman. The street curb and gutter will be required to be
built as part of the site development and upon issuance of a building permit for the home. It
appears that the plat complies with the City of Paris subdivision regulations with the following
revisions.
1. Provide a unique subdivision name by adding CB 213 to title.
2. Provide the current zoning.
3. Note the proper plat name in the title block (preliminary and final, not minor)
The plat was approved by the Planning & Zoning Commission on January 6th.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the final plat with noted revisions.
