WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has been made
aware of the fact that Part of Lot 1, City Block 112-B, Part of
Lot 10, City Block ll2-C, Lot 1 and Part of Lot 2, Part of Lot 3
and Lots 4 through 8, Block 1, Poland Addition, and Lots 1 and 2,
Block 4, Poland Addition, within the corporate limits of the City
of Paris, have a zoning classification of Two-Family Dwelling
District (2F), Specific Use, Residence Home for Aged, and Part of
Lot 1, City Block 112-B and Part of Lot 10, City Block 112-C,
having a zoning classification of Office District (0); and,
WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interest of the
citizens of Paris that such zoning classifications be reviewed by
the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris to
consider changing such zoning classification to TWO-FAMILY
DWELLING DISTRICT (2F), and in the event that it finds the same
should be changed that such recommendation should be made to the
City Council for final action; and
WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that a public hearing be
set before the Planning and Zoning Commission at 5:30 o'clock
P.M., in the City Council Room, City Hall, Paris, Texas, on the
3rd day of June, 1991 and before the City Council at 6:00 o'clock
P.M. on the 10th day of June, 1991; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
that the matter of zoning classification change on Part of Lot 1,
City Block 112-B, Part of Lot 10, City Block 112-C, Lot 1 and
Part of Lot 2, Part of Lot 3 and Lots 4 through 8, Block 1,
Poland Addition, and Lots 1 and 2, Block 4, Poland Addition,
within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, have a zoning
classification of Two-Family Dwelling District (2F), Specific
Use, Residence Home for Aged, and Part of Lot 1, City Block 112-B
and Part of Lot 10, City Block 112-C, having a zoning
classification of Office District (0), be, and the same is hereby
referred to the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of
Paris for its recommendation concerning the change in zoning to a
TWO-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F); and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held by and
before the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris at
5:30 o'clock P.M., in the City Council Room, City Hall, Paris,
Texas, on the 3rd day of June, 1991 and a public hearing be held
by and before the City Council of the City of Paris at 6:00
o'clock P.M. in the Council Room, City Hall, Paris, Texas on the
10th day of June, 1991, said public hearings to be held con-
cerning the change in zoning on said property.
