1991-028-RES WHEREAS, the City of Paris has been requested by Precinct 4, Lamar County, Texas, to enter into a joint
RESOLUTION NO. 91-028
WHEREAS, the City of Paris has been requested by
Precinct 4, Lamar County, Texas, to enter into a joint
project to furnish an amount equal to approximately 50% of
the cost of a project known as the Joint City/Precinct 4
Stillhouse Road Project; and,
WHEREAS, an Inter local Governmental Agreement between
the City of Paris and Precinct 4, Lamar County, Texas, for
said project is attached hereto as Exhibit A and should be
approved; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
that the Interlocal Governmental Agreement for the Joint
City/Precinct 4 Stillhouse Road Project, upon the terms and
conditions stated in the agreement attached hereto as Exhibit
A is hereby approved, and that the Mayor of the City of
Paris, Eric S. Clifford, be, and he is hereby authorized and
directed to execute on behalf of the City of Paris the
Interlocal Governmental Agreement for furnishing an amount
equal to approximately 50% of the cost of said project with
Precinct 4, Lamar County, Texas, in the form of Exhibit A
attached hereto.

INTERLOCAL GOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF PARIS AND PRECINCT 4, LAMAR COUNTY, TEXAS
STATE OF TEXAS ~
COUNTY OF LAMAR ~
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
THAT, the CITY OF PARIS, Paris, Texas, a municipal
corporation, acting by and through its Mayor, Eric S,
Clifford, duly authorized, hereinafter called CITY and
Precinct 4, Lamar County, Texas, acting by and through its
Commissioner, Allan Weatherford, duly authorized, hereinafter
called PRECINCT 4, do hereby contract and agree as follows:
1. CITY agrees to furnish an amount equal to approxi-
mately 50/0 of the cost of a project known as the Joint
City/Precinct 4 Stillhouse Road Project at a location begin-
ning at the South Boundary Line of the most Southerly
entrance to North Lamar School property, North approximately
1000 feet, as follows:
(a) One-half (~)of the lime for stabilization of the
subgrade.
(b) All of the cement necessary for. stabilization of
white rock base, if needed.
(c) Two coats of seal coat asphalt with coverstone
wearing surface and apply the same.
2. PRECINCT 4 agrees to furnish an amount equal to
approximately 50% of the cost of said project as follows:
(a) One-half (!) of the lime necessary for stabi-
lization of the subgrade and prepare such subgrade.
EXHIBIT A
(b) Eight (8) inches of base rock compacted and cement
stabilized if needed.
3. The cost of the above project is estimated to cost
approximately $4,900.00 for CITY and $5,400.00 for PRECINCT
4.
