WHEREAS, Campbell Soup (Texas) Inc. has requested that
an exception to the regulations of the Railroad Commission of
Texas, LP-Gas Division be made to Section 9.65A of the L.P.G.
safety rule to allow the present L.P.G storage tank to remain
at the present location one half (1/2) mile north of Loop 286
on Highway 271 in Paris, Texas; and,
WHEREAS, the City
owner, finds no reason
THEREFORE,
of Paris, as an adjacent property
to object to such application; NOW,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
that the Mayor of the City of Paris, Eric S. Clifford, be,
and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf
of the City of Paris the Notice of Exception To Safety Rules,
attached hereto as Exhibit A.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk of the City
of Paris, Mattie Cunningham is hereby directed to transmit
said executed notice to the Railroad Commission of Texas,
LP-Gas Division,

The applicant's desired relief as submitted on Page I of LPG Form 25 is as follows:
Campbell Soup (Texas) Inc. request that an exception to Section 9.65A of the L.P.G. safety
rule be made to allow the present t.P,G. storage tank (12,000 gal. capacity) to remain at
the present location. The exception would allow a metal repair building to remain 56' from
the storage tank and the brick security building to remain 59' from the storage tank.
The required distance according to the L.P.G. Safety rule is 100'
