Commissioner Dux called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.
The January 8, 2020 minutes were approved by acclamation.
The commission reviewed the list of structures with Code Enforcement violations located at
142 W Plum, B. 921 E Houston, C. 235 NE 8"', D. 447 NE 8 1h , E. 702 E Booth, F. 800 BLK of SE 38"', G.
1011 Church, H.845 E Washington, 1. 628 SE 6 J. 1324 Margaret, K. 2004 Cleveland, L. 404 SW 3 rd . A
motion was made by CommissionerIlider determining these structures cannot be rehabilitated and
designated on the National Register of Historic Places, as a recorded Texas Historic Landmark, or as
historic property as designated by the City Council of the City of Paris, seconded by Commissioner Emmite,
motion carried unanimously.
Cheri Bedford gave an update on the up and coming free educational Window Workshop on March 14,
2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.rn. An informational invite is prepared and ready for mail out to Church St
Historic District residents. Commissioner Dux suggested that all contractors registered with the City of Pa
be sent a mail out.
Cheri also reported on the City Hall centennial celebration and the Imagine the Possibilities tours schedule
for May 9, 2020, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. More details to follow, I
