1991-038-RES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore in Resolution No. 87-006 authorize the
RESOLUTION NO. 91-038
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did
heretofore in Resolution No. 87-006 authorize the leasing of
certain fairground property to the Red River Valley Fair
Association, Inc. and thereafter as amended in Resolution
No's 87-036 and 89-036; and,
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the
City Council of the City of Paris that certain requirements
in said Lease Agreement are burdensome and ineffective and
that said Lease Agreement with the City of Paris should be
amended; and,
WHEREAS, it is right and proper that said Lease Agree-
ment be amended in the form of Addendum Number Three attached
hereto as Exhibit A; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
PARIS, that the amendment to the Red River
Association, lnc.'s, Lease dated January 12,

Number Three attached hereto as Exhibit A.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS That this Addendum
Number Three to Red River Valley Fair Association, Inc.'s,
Lease, made the 8th day of April, 1991, by and between Red
River Valley Fair Association, Inc., and the CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, acting by and through its Mayor, Eric S.
Clifford, duly authorized,
WITNESSETH:
It is hereby mutually agreed by and between Red River
Valley Fair Association, Inc., and CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS, that paragraphs 6 and 7 of said lease be changed to
read as follows:
" (6) That Lessee will deliver to Lessor annually a
compulation of financial records prepared by a Certified
Public Accountant on or before the first day of May of
each year.
(7) That Lessee will not sublet the rented
premises or any part thereof for more than thirty (30)
days without the consent in writing of Lessor first had
and obtained."
